Zanny

My dog Zandra (zanny is her nick name) is By-far the BEST dog my family has had. She traned so easaly! now im not telling you to go out and buy a german shepherd if you want one you need to have the time to train it and be with it. when zanny was little she almost did not last with us she was the "alfa" female in the group, when we would go to pick her up or pet her some times she would role over and just snarle. now when she was 2 months it was not so bad mut we finaly just got tough with her.

We had to be the alfa in her "pack" we had to hold her head down (force her to submit to us) and when she would nip we would pop her on the nose, we did not know to do this till a K9 cop friend told us it wont hurt her, all it took was maby one time and she would go to nip and put her paw over her nose. and that was the end of her bad aditude.

other than jumping she was awsom then we met some one that said when she jumps tos a beanie baby at her side, not to hurt her but to suprise her. this only took at the most 5 times for her to relise that it was more anoying to jump than it was fun. from ther the "Evil bunny" was born. it was a white off brand benie bunny and all we had to do is make shure she saw it and she would not jump on any one! it was awsome

well now zanny is 2 years old and 89 lbs loves playing frisbie, chasing lazer pointers and swiming in the pond down the street.

Zandra is the feminen form of Zander greek for Defender of man, i thought this was a Great name for a GSD ;)
